Rose Post

Rose Post by Jeanne Downing

I love creating vintage looking backgrounds and then painting on them, enhancing some of the background features to integrate with my artwork.  This "postcard" exemplifies my technique.  The card was digitally created, printed on archival card stock and then mounted to an 8x6" panel.  This can be displayed on an easel or hung.  Either way, it makes a charming accent.

These backgrounds are available in a digital download format on my website, www.rosecote.com.  This one is from the Vintage Papers Collection.

Thank you to Beverly for her dedication.  How Sweet the Sound.
